Roller hearth or pusher: which kiln for zirconia and LFP?

ZYGK roller-hearth and ZYTK pusher furnaces use different ways to move a load through the heating zones. Selection begins with the material, its container and the required thermal cycle.

A roller hearth carries the load on driven rollers. Powders may still need saggers or other supports. Check roller spacing, container geometry, loading weight and the required transport speed together.

A pusher furnace advances loads on supporting plates. Plate dimensions, layout and the pushing cycle affect line capacity. Heating-element and lining selections must match the actual operating temperature.

The ZYGK catalog lists a maximum temperature of 1350 °C and a working temperature of 1280 °C for the published configurations. These values are not universal ratings for every customized furnace.

For zirconia or lithium iron phosphate, provide the temperature curve, atmosphere, batch loading and throughput target. ZKR’s engineering team can then compare suitable transport arrangements and prepare a project-specific proposal.
